• Remove the expandable cord from the rear slot and insert your canvas or canvas panel into the channel on the base of the easel
• Continue by placing the upper channel support over the edge of your canvas
• Pull the end of the expandable cord tight to hold the canvas securely
• Pull the end of the expandable cord up through the slot on the rear of the base to lock the expandable cord in place
